Dr Samar (pronounced “Summer”) Mikhail has been practicing dentistry for 20 years. In 2023, she and her family relocated to West Michigan from California to be closer to their family and she joined us at Infinity Dental. Dr Samar was one of the youngest graduates in her class at Howard University Collage of Dentistry in 2003. She has always wanted to be a dentist and enjoys engaging with patients and helping them feel comfortable with treatment and partnering with them to achieve the smile and overall dental health they desire through conservative, comfortable and gentle dentistry. She is passionate about the artistic, creative and cosmetic side of dentistry and loves that dentistry is a marriage of science and art. Dr Samar does all aspects of dentistry and also excels at cosmetic dentistry, Sure Smile Clear Aligners and various styles of dental implants, including full arch rehabilitation.

Travel and culture are important to Dr Samar and she has lived in 4 countries and 7 states. Dr Samar and her husband, Joe love exploring new places and venturing around the world and forming memorable experiences with their two children. They feel blessed to have found a perfect place to settle down and raise their children with the unique charm and warm people of Western Michigan.

Dr. Emily Reinhardt Getz joined the Infinity Dental team in 2020. She is a native of Birch Run, Michigan, and has just relocated to the Grand Rapids region. Her undergraduate studies included a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University, followed by a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, which she received in 2019.

Dr. Emily has wanted to be a dentist since she was a child. While pursuing her degrees, she had the opportunity to shadow and assist in a dental practice, which solidified her decision. She enjoys spending time in the clinical setting with her employees and patients while maintaining a positive, easygoing atmosphere. One of her favorite features of dentistry is the constant developments and learning opportunities that allow her to pursue her passion.

Dr. Emily and her husband Dr. Austin Getz have 2 boys and like spending time with their friends and family, as well as trying new restaurants and cuisines together. Emily participated in a variety of sports as a child and now enjoys rooting for her favorite teams. She’s up for a friendly competition at any time.
Dr. Emily is ecstatic to be delivering care in such a warm and welcoming environment with such lovely patients, and she looks forward to continuing to form bonds with everyone she meets.
